22 BR

Here is a fast twist 22 BR that we built for a customer and a three shot group that the customer shoot with it. It is a new Remington 700 short action that has been squared, lugs lapped, bolt trued and recoil lug surface ground. Benchmark, 1/8 twist 22 cal. barrel finished at 26 1/2" with a Vais muzzel brake. HS Precision stock, Leupold rings and bases and a Leupold 6.5x20x40mm LR scope with the varmint retical. We bedded the action into the stock and adjusted the trigger to a crisp 2lb pull..

The group was shoot with Lapua cases and Hornady 75gr BTHP match bullets.

Sniper Rifle

Here is a sniper rifle that we just completed for a Police Dept. It is a Rem. 700 short action, HS Precision stock, Benchmark 30cal 3 groove barrel, Duracoated and chambered in 308 win, MIRS M24 scope base, NightForce Scope and rings, Jewell trigger and Harris Bi pod.

After 20 rounds of barrel breakin I returned the next day and fired the group shown above shooting off of the bi-pod. This was the first 3 shot group for the day, one cold bore shot and then two more following it. Ammo used was Federal Gold medal match 168gr BTHP factory ammo.
